A new online estate agency claims to have launched a UK-first: a ‘pay now’ service, covering everything from legal fees to a removal van and even a dog sitter on moving day.
New Leeds-based Eazy Agent’s package also includes services such as photographs, EPC, a sales board, premium listings, and sandwiches for the kids, for £1,749.
The novel idea came to property investor and former agency manager Lee Farrell (pictured)n who launched his company with ex-colleague, Stuart Busuttil, during lockdown, doing all of their marketing through social media.
Farrell’s aim is to keep things easy and affordable for people buying and selling homes and believes the offer is massively cheaper than traditional high street alternatives.
For £249, its basic service involves the seller taking their own photographs, then Eazy Agent puts it on the major property portals, does the memorandum of sale and a floorplan, as well as viewer vetting plus legal fees. It also offers bolt-ons such as accompanied viewings and EPC.

As well as the two pay now services, its pay later package is priced at 1.25% commission.
The new firm covers all of the UK as Farrell reckons geography is irrelevant, particularly during COVID. “People are now more comfortable buying and selling houses online – they don’t need to go into a local shop, and nowadays they’re more reluctant to do that anyway,” he tells The Negotiator. “I can put a sign up and arrange a photographer through third parties, such as arranging someone to attend a viewing in Devon.”
Since launching eight weeks ago, Eazy Agent has had three completions and this weekend got 22 leads from Stoke, Essex and Preston.
“We took on an instruction in Barnsley on Thursday, marketed Friday, had nine viewings booked and sold today STC,” adds Farrell. “All for £249 – not bad by anyone’s standards.”
