The property market must be back with a vengeance. Two designers have launched a new home staging and showhome business offering to help estate agents shift unloved or unsold properties on their books
London-based home staging specialist, Style & Stage, is offering to help agents and property developers market and sell new and second-hand properties across London and the home counties with dressing and styling services starting from £15,000.
For this, they’ll visit to gather inspiration, devise a theme and then create an authentic ‘character’ by looking round the neighbourhood, speaking to local estate agents and shop owners and buying local pieces for the living spaces.
It reckons home staging can add significant value to the sales and marketing process; the firm reports that housebuilder clients such as Galliard Homes find properties dressed by Style & Stage sell on average three times more quickly than a unit that hasn’t had an image overhaul.
Fashion and property
With a background in fashion and property, co-directors Leiselle De Napoli and Hayley Rodol (pictured, above) help those looking to dress, style and market properties so they can showcase the lifestyle on offer.
They promise a ‘superfast’ turnaround for dressing and styling empty homes, using interesting colours, striking furniture and stylish accessories.
Rodol says: “When staging a property, our aim is to allow the potential purchaser to envision themselves living there, as well as to sell the lifestyle that the property would provide. We are always delighted to see the success of this when a property we have staged sells quickly.”
