Love Island contestant Harley Brash appears to have quit the property industry after her appearance on the TV show.

The Negotiator contacted her employer Martin & Co at the Chelsea and Riverside London branch she worked at before joining the show, which is watched by 3.4 million people, but the office was unable to confirm or deny whether she had left the business and that “there is nothing they wish to add regarding Harley”.

But the 20 year-old, who now has 241,000 followers on her Instagram account, no longer features on the Martin & Co branch website team photos as she did when our initial story about the Newcastle-born lettings negotiator two weeks ago.

Brash was billed by the programme’s producers as an estate agent and moved down to London from her native Newcastle after working there in lettings for four years before joining Martin & Co’s 12-strong team in Chelsea.

But Brash didn’t last long on the show despite her negotiating skills, lasting from her debut on July 15th until July 24th when she voted off Love Island along with two other contestants despite striking up a relationship with another contestant, Chris Taylor.

Since leaving Love Island she has been involved in promotional work with Heat magazine and has been hanging out on yachts in Majorca. Her reluctance to return quickly to the coal face of West London’s letting market is perhaps understandable.
