Link to LonRes newsMany agents across the country will have heard about LonRes, but have not been able to be part of the network – until now.

ResCountry, the country offering from LonRes, has added 5,000 rural properties to its network from close to 200 established country offices.

These now include both large nationals such as Knight Frank and Strutt & Parker and leading regional independents such as Norfolk-based Sowerbys, South West agents, Luscombe Maye, and Fisher German whose offices span the country from Hungerford in the South to Chester in the North West.

ResCountry has been created on the success of LonRes, a residential business-to-business platform, that for almost 20 years, has been using technology to help agents in London do better business.

The country offering came in response to the findings of a LonRes agent survey which reported that 85% of London agents had sellers or landlords looking to buy or rent outside the capital.

Link to LonRes newsChris Welch, Sales Manager of LonRes, says that ResCountry is essentially a roll-out of LonRes to the country. “Country agents list their properties onto the LonRes platform and in doing so advertise their stock (and commission splits where they apply) to a private network of over 6,000 London-based estate and buying agents with clients and applicants looking to buy or rent. In short, ResCountry takes your clients’ rural properties direct to the heart of the capital.”

For large nationals, ResCountry strengthens their existing agency network and for independents, it demonstrates a London connection to their country clients.

“The service provides a seamless platform for agents, in and out of London, to work together. And from the feedback we’ve had from country agents, it’s proving a useful tool in helping win new instructions. Rural agents tell us their clients are quick to see the benefits of promoting their property direct to London-based agents.”

“ResCountry really does open up the market to potential buyers and for rural agents it’s a compelling message to take to pitches. LonRes is an established, trusted network and taking it beyond London makes perfect sense.”
