Six months since the launch of the industry’s first property management franchise scheme, SDL Property Partners is going from strength to strength, signing of four franchisees, bringing the total to seven, and an ever-growing team with the appointment of Duncan Foster as business development manager.
Duncan originally joined SDL Property Management last year as the business development manager for estate management. He has worked in the property management industry for 30 years, spending the majority of his career at family business Alan Foster Associates, where he developed the property management side of the business. For 10 years Duncan was senior partner of the business.
Duncan said, “I am excited to move into this role as it enables me to help other people who are passionate about property to hone their skills.”
“With compliance becoming more of a priority in the industry, it makes it increasingly difficult for property managers to go-it-alone, I know this was true for me. Had this franchise model existed five years ago, would I have sold my business? Perhaps not.”
