The Fine & Country Foundation is supporting 155 homeless and disadvantaged people in Bedford through a £3,370 grant to the King’s Arms Project, which will provide training, workshops and household goods as part of the Move-On Housing project, and transport for 140 clients to access training courses and workshops in the Pathways to Employment programme.
Haydn van Weenen, Partner from Fine & Country Bedford said, “We are delighted that the Trustees of The Fine & Country Foundation have chosen to support our area. I have lived and worked in Bedford for a number of years and witnessed a distinct rise in rough sleepers. I was so grateful to visit King’s Arms Project and hear about their work. Fine & Country Bedford now looks forward to maintaining a relationship with King’s Arms Project to help continue their incredible work.”
Steve Westwood, Fundraising Officer for King’s Arms Project said, “We are very grateful for the support of The Fine & Country Foundation who are helping us to open two new Move-On Houses and provide access to our Pathways to Employment programme. This will help us to support our clients through safe, supported accommodation and employability training.”
